On November 24, the awarding ceremony and the Forum of the 7th Golden flying swallow cross strait micro film & short video competition was held. The short video isolated area won the silver flying swallow award, and the short video agreement filmed by the school of Journalism and communication won the copper flying swallow award.
Under the background of the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, the awarding ceremony was held simultaneously at the two venues of Hubei University of Economics and Taiwan Asian University. Xing Junzhi, deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Hubei Province; Wen Xingsheng, Secretary of the HBUE Party committee, Dong Shijie, President of the University, and He Huigang, Vice President of the University; Deng Chenglian, Vice President of the Asian University of Taiwan; as well as representatives from Taiwan micro Film Creation Association, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Communication University of China, and teachers and students of HBUE attended.
Under the direction of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Hubei Province, the competition is sponsored by Hubei University of Economics, and co-organized by Taiwan Asian University and Taiwan micro Film Creation Association. Focusing on the development and progress of both sides of the Taiwan Straits, the theme of it is to provide a platform for young students from both sides of the Straits to learn and exchange, enhance the practical and creative ability of the youth, promote the development of the micro film industry, and enhance the cultural exchange and integration between the two sides of the Strait. The competition was launched in June, and teachers and students from more than 100 universities as well as people from society who are interested across the Strait actively participated. There are more than 600 entries with rich types and excellent quality, including realistic themes, science fiction, campus youth, and crossing.
In his speech, Dong Shijie expressed the hope that the majority of young people can record their feelings and express their thoughts through the micro film, and show the beautiful life, the great era and the great dream with the works full of depth and devotion.
Deng Chenglian delivered a speech. He pointed out that the two sides of the Taiwan Strait have been linked by one bond through video, and he hopes that golden flying swallow will become better and better under the joint cooperation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
Wen Xingsheng wished that the Golden Swallow will fly higher and higher, and create more good stories for cross-strait youth exchanges.
According to the final judgment of the competition jury, the feature film Kagangtuya, which describes the psychological state of young people with Alzheimer's disease, won the highest award of golden flying swallow. Taiwan's may I ask if you are a God and mainland's isolation area won the Silver Flying Swallow award.
After the award ceremony, at the summit forum, guests and scholars from both sides of the Straits actively discussed the development direction of micro film under the new situation from the perspective of micro film and big era and discussed the future development of the micro films.
