


From November 14th to 16th, the 2025 World Chinese Conference was grandly held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Vice President He Huigang attended the conference upon invitation, accompanied by representatives from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and the College of International Education. They also participated in the 2025 World Chinese Conference Thematic Exhibition and the HSK China Education International Exchange Exhibition.
During the conference, the university’s representatives took part in forums such as the China-Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) Education Development Forum, the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) Global Partners Conference, the 2025 China-Gulf Language and Culture Forum, the Confucius Institute: Advancing into the Next 20 Years Seminar, the 2025 Global Chinese Language Alliance Conference, and related parallel forums. Discussions centered on topics including the construction of a localized Chinese education system in the digital intelligence era, mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations and the cultivation of China studies talents, the creation of a borderless Chinese learning ecosystem integrating online and offline approaches, the development of Chinese education standards from a global perspective, opportunities and challenges in intelligent Chinese language assessment, and the construction and case sharing of a Chinese Plus collaborative ecosystem. Chinese and foreign directors of Confucius Institutes worldwide, Chinese language education experts, and international Chinese language promotion professionals fully exchanged achievements and experiences in international Chinese education. At the 2025 Global Chinese Language Alliance Conference, our university was honored with the title of 2025 Global Chinese Language Alliance Gold Partner in Digital Intelligent Teaching.
At the Thematic Exhibition of the World Chinese Conference, our university’s booth highlighted significant achievements in international exchange and cooperation, international student education, the development of Chu Cuisine industry, and cultural dissemination. It attracted considerable attention from domestic and international guests and received high praise from leaders of the Provincial Department of Education.
The 2025 World Chinese Conference was organized by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and co-hosted by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, the Chinese International Education Foundation, and the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching. Under the theme Innovation Leads, Digital Intelligence Empowers—Making Chinese Accessible to All, the conference brought together over 2,000 participants, including government officials, university presidents, experts, scholars, teachers, students, and diplomatic envoys from more than 160 countries and regions.
