The delegation led by Vice President Lu Xiaocheng paid a visit to Northwood University and Florida Institute of Technology from the November 2^nd to 6^th. In the Northwood University, Lu Xiaocheng and President Keith Pretty had a profound exchange over issues like extending cooperative projects in the majors of international business and logistics management and deepening the joint education.

In the Florida Institute of Technology, Lu Xiaocheng and president Dwayne McCay signed a Memorandum of Understanding and the cooperation agreement for 2+2 joint undergraduate program in the specialty of computer science, Setting out the first practical step of the cooperation between two universities.

During the visit of America, the delegation had also met with some local professors and the Associate Dean of the Confucius Institute.
