Professor Dr. Mao Yan won the Emerald Outstanding Paper Award in 2022


Recently, the 2022 Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence results were announced. Professor Dr. Mao Yan of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management won the 2022 Emerald Outstanding Paper Award for her thesis On being warm and friendly: the effect of socially responsible human resource management on employee fees of the rivers of COVID-19.

This paper discusses how social responsibility oriented human resource management affects the anxiety and fear of hotel and tourism employees about external threats during the epidemic time. The author's team chose the social support theory as the theoretical basis, and believed that social responsibility oriented human resource management can effectively reduce the negative emotions of employees' fear, and the greater the impact of crisis events, the more significant the mitigation effect of social responsibility oriented human resource management on employees' fear. At present, the paper has been downloaded and read more than 10000 times.
