University's library re-opened

On September 2nd, 769 college students from the School of Business Administration and the School of Accountancy attended the interdisciplinary comprehensive workshop in the Lab Building. This is the first workshop after the reopening of the university. Guo Yasi and Xia Xinsi, senior students of Economic Management program, said that practice on computer helps them have a deeper and a more comprehensive understanding of knowledge. Yao Heping, the instructor introduced that the workshop will last for six weeks and it will help students consolidate theoretical knowledge, familiarize themselves with the real working environment and carry out cross-disciplinary cooperation through the simulation.



On August 31th the day after senior students returned to school, Hubei University of Economics opened its library. At 7 am on that day, there was a long queue at the entrance of the library. Students entered the library in an orderly manner to borrow or return books and prepare for examinations. Wu Lu, senior librarian of the university, said that the number of people that have entered the library on the first day exceed 800. According to the epidemic prevention and control requirements, the library used online appointment to book seat in advance and make sure only one person at one table, which then increased to two people at one table as a response to students’ request. Students are all very keen on learning and love to go to the library after school’s reopening.
