On March 31, the 5th China Cheerleading Culture Festival was held in Danzhou city, Hainan Province. HBUE was awarded the National Cheerleading Special Contribution Award by the Gymnastics Management Center of the State General Administration of Sports, which was the third time for HBUE to win the organization award on cheerleading after obtaining the titles of National Cheerleading Demonstration Window University and National Five-star Cheerleading  Club.
