Frostburg State University President Visits to Discuss Sino-foreign Cooperative Educational Institutions

On June 21st, Dr. Ronald Nowaczyk, President of Frostburg State University, led a delegation to visit our school, and was received by President Fang Jie and Vice President Fu Hong. Both parties have had full communication on the proposed establishment of a Sino-foreign cooperative educational institution - the Frostburg School of Intelligent Business and Big Data at Hubei University of Economics.

Fang Jie warmly welcomed the visit of Dr. Ronald Nowaczyk and his delegation, and introduced our school's history, educational characteristics, subjects and choices of major, talent cultivation models, and external exchanges. She hopes that both sides can deepen cooperation and actively promote the construction of the Frostburg School of Intelligent Commerce and Big Data at Hubei University of Economics.

Dr. Ronald Nowaczyk expressed gratitude for our warm reception and gave an introductory overview of Frostburg State University. He stated that the joint application of the two schools for the establishment of a Sino-foreign cooperative educational institution will achieve strong alliances in different disciplines. He hopes that both sides will continue to promote cooperation in areas such as talent cultivation and scientific research, and accelerate the two-way flow and integration of high-quality educational resources and talents.

At the operation and management seminar, both parties had in-depth discussions on the details of the curriculum and teaching arrangements, teacher visits and student dispatch, and support for teaching and auxiliary software and hardware facilities of Sino-foreign cooperative educational institutions.

Both parties signed a memorandum of friendly cooperation and exchanged souvenirs.

Accompanied by Fu Hong, Dr. Ronald Nowaczyk visited the Coin Exhibition Hall, the School History Hall, the Experimental Teaching Center, the New Engineering Laboratory, and the Provincial and Ministerial Collaborative Innovation Center for Carbon Emission Trading.

Officials from the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, the School of International Education, the School of Finance, the School of Statistics and Mathematics, and the School of Low Carbon Economics also participated in the above activities.
